Peace Ministry – Vigil to Remember and Honor Victims of Gun Violence and Raise Awareness for the Need for Gun Safety Measures
Many thanks to the planners and all who attended the vigil and ceremony remembering and honoring the victims of gun violence hosted by NCC! The gathering on the Pine Meadows green brought together several groups from the New Hartford area. Our road-side presence garnered many thumbs up and horns honked in support! In our closing ceremony, we gathered into a circle, lifting up a representative number of incidents in remembrance of those who lost their lives and the loved ones whose lives are forever changed by the heartbreaking and needless loss of their beloveds. As people of faith, we remembered them with prayer and promised to honor all victims with action. If you would like to know more, please contact the church office.
