This year, facing record need, Covenant to Care has begged us to up our commitment to donating holiday gifts for local children who are abused, neglected, or at-risk. Their 28 names and short “wish lists” will adorn our Christmas tree in the sanctuary. Please take a child’s name (or two!); be sure to note your choice on the sign-up sheet on the piano. Your unwrapped gifts (marked with child’s name) are due under the tree by Sunday, Dec. 17. The usual gift or gift card value is $25-$35 (no checks, please). If you can’t make it to church to choose a name, or need help buying/delivering your gift purchase, our Missions members can assist you; please call Donna Howard (860-738-2207). We “can do” it for these kids!
